This weekend Gigi and Grandpa came to visit, and we went to visit Jeanna's family. I met cousin Lisa and her family, too! They are traveling around the country in an awesome RV for a whole year. Lisa has two sets of twins, and Jeanna has 3 kids, so it was SO fun to play with all of the kids. All of the girls wanted to hold me and play with me, and I was happy to be with them. They let me give them kisses, and crawl all over them. For dinner, all 15 of us sat around one big table, and I got to sit with everyone in my Sassi seat. Mom loved it - it reminded her of dinners when she was younger with 3 siblings. Big families are the best. Here are a few photos from the day: Today we washed and waxed and detailed BOTH cars! I admit, I slept in the car while Mom and Dad did most of the work. Sleeping through chores is definitely the best way to do them. I was at least awake for the washing of the car (at the car wash). Then Daddy did a lot of work outdoors. We have so many leaves to rake. When he was finished outside he built a nice warm fire inside! It's the first time I've ever seen a fire in our fireplace. Mom and I snuggled by it. Check out Mom's awesome new haircut!

I think it is fun to talk to Mommy. When she says "da," I say "da." When she says "ma," I say "ma." When she says "pffffft," I say "pfffft." I also like to find my firetruck when she reminds me to ding the bell, and the guy on the radio made a funny noise, so I made it, too! I love to learn all about the world around me and try out new sounds!
Today I had the second dose of my flu shot. I hated the shot, but it was fun to make new friends with the other babies in the waiting room. We liked to talk to each other, and make silly sounds. I'm getting super speedy at crawling, and I have a TON of things I need to do in the morning: tip over the air purifier, bang the pulls on the dresser, follow the kitty around the whole upstairs, try my hardest to crawl into the shower with Daddy (with my clothes on), climb in and out of the laundry baskets, feel the awesome wicker hamper, find and taste the cell phone charger, climb into and open drawer, and all of that happens within 5 minutes. I have a really busy schedule. But sometimes it's nice to just stop and watch the snow. |
