18 Weeks

Well, we knew this day would come, but it seems to have come much faster than we expected!  I am 18, and it's time for me to move on - find a job, earn a living, start contributing to this household.  My parents feel bittersweet about it, but are excited for the freedom of an empty nest.  They want to travel more..........what was that you said?  I'm 18 weeks, not years?  Oh, phew!!! What a relief.  I mean, I could have maybe gotten a job as a baby model, but I hear that's kind of competitive.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do.  Hear that Mom and Dad!?  You can't get rid of me yet!

In other news we had another fun and busy weekend.  On saturday, in the beautiful weather, we went to Mema and Poppop's house to celebrate Poppop's birthday!  We had a rough start to the morning, because my poor parents don't get to sleep much, but once we got there, we were so happy to see everyone.  We played in the grass, shopped a few yard sales, and hung out with the relatives.  
Then today, we FINALLY went grocery shopping.  My parent's have bought groceries in WEEKS. It was a big deal.  Then we had a relaxing day at home.   
The big news of the day:  I tried my first (legit) solid foods - rice cereal=yuck and bananas=YUM!
