Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday. I turned 3 weeks old, went to church for the first time, partied it up for the Super Bowl, AND lost my umbilical cord! Sometimes I don't know where I find the time for all of these things.
Mom's bell choir was playing the prelude and Grandma Krug did the childrens' message at the late service, so we decided to take advantage of the good weather and venture to church. Grandma had a great time showing me off after the service.
Later in the evening we all partied (ok, I slept a lot of the time) at Siobhan and Chris' Super Bowl Party - Super Bowl 45 - Steelers vs. Packers - Packers won (I know we all know this, but it will be important to know these details when I come back to read this in 10 years). When we were ready to come home mom had to change my diaper one last time and my umbilical cord fell off! Mom and Dad have never been so excited to give me a bath. That's what we are doing as soon as I finish typing this entry.
